Old School Roofing was built on a simple idea: homeowners in southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts deserve honest work, fair prices, and a contractor who shows up when they say they will. Founder AJ Dowd spent years working in the home improvement industry across New England before he saw a gap that kept bothering him. Too many local families were overpaying for exterior work or getting left with half-finished jobs and unanswered calls. He started Old School Roofing LLC to fix that.
AJ grew up in New England and knows these towns well. He knows what a hard Massachusetts winter does to a roof in Chelmsford or Lowell. He knows the wind and ice that roll through Windham and Derry every season. That firsthand knowledge shapes how we approach every job, from the materials we recommend to the way we prep and install them.
We handle roofing, siding, windows, and gutters for homes across the region. Whether you need asphalt shingles, metal roofing, cedar shake, or a rubber or rolled roofing system, we work with materials built to hold up in New England weather. We install Harvey Windows, CertainTeed roofing and siding, Hardie Board, vinyl siding, and wood siding. We also handle wood gutters and full exterior renovation projects.
Our service area runs from communities like Concord, Carlisle, and Andover in Massachusetts up through Nashua, Merrimack, Londonderry, and Salem in New Hampshire.
